Women’s Self-compassion Group
Self-compassion means treating yourself with the same kindness as you would show other people. Many people with depression and anxiety find it difficult to do that, believing they are letting themselves off the hook for their flaws or that they will lose motivation to change. Research has shown the opposite is true —that being honest and gentle with your ourselves can actually increase motivation while helping to reduce perfectionism and the anxiety and symptoms of depression that often accompany it.
Join other women as we explore the concept and practice of self-compassion in a safe online group setting. If you struggle with harsh self-criticism and feelings of unworthiness, this group will show you that you are not alone and teach you strategies for viewing yourself with honest and mindful compassion.
